about
The impact Melbourne music legend Chris wilson had on so many, including the next generation is now being felt in his absence.
Chris' "Live At The Continental" album is one of those Aussie classics that so many grew up with and will listen to for years to come. During COVID I've spent countless hours in my studio recording heaps of my favorite songs, one of which is Chris' great tune "You Will Surely Love Again" from that album but, i had an idea to record it as a full production with electric guitars, bass and drums with my first recruit being my son and Melbourne music identity, Max Shepherd from The Dead Amigos to feature on vocals and guitar and, upon hearing the raw tracks my mate ROD Paine From Redliners, Full Time Lovers etc, quickly agreed to put a vocal track down as well, creating a duo performance that gives the song a new dynamic and, Max's Guitar solo is a SCREAMER! We have released the song with all proceeds going to Pancreatic cancer at Sarah Caroll's request. we are happy for you to stream it here but, please consider buying the song as a download and support this underfunded area of research
